Today I agreed to purchase my second SAAB. She’s a 1987 SAAB 900i, 8 valve engine, no turbo, in white with red velour interior, 247,000 kilometers on the odometer, running great, no rust!
She is a Benelux model, without a catalytic converter, the first owner was a Belgian soldier. She has been registered in Belgium, Germany and France, now she’ll have an American registration!
The car is currently in France, I go down to Sarreguemine on Saturday to pick her up, then we will have a nice five hour drive back home to northern Bavaria.
Oh, she has one very cool ANA SAAB of Trollhättan license plate frame!
I need help choosing a name, any suggestions?
